Go-Around
An aborted landing where the aircraft climbs away to try again.
A go-around is when a landing approach is discontinued and the aircraft climbs back to a safe altitude to set up for another attempt. Pilots initiate one when the approach is unstable, the runway is not clear, or conditions change. It is a routine, trained-for safety maneuver — not an emergency.
