L3Harris Completes Conversion of First VC-25B Presidential Jet from Boeing 747-8I

L3Harris, a leading US defense contractor, has completed and delivered the inaugural VC-25B presidential transport jet. This milestone was reached after a 10-month extensive conversion process of a Boeing 747-8I business jet into the new Air Force One aircraft variant. The delivery was confirmed on 19 June, marking a significant update to the presidential air fleet.

The VC-25B is designed to replace the aging VC-25A aircraft that have served as the primary Air Force One jets for decades.
